Menopause also know as Climacteric marks a time in a woman’s life when her periods(Menstruation) stops. Prior to this, some women undergo perimenopause. During perimenopause, a woman’s period becomes irregular, periods can last for longer or shorter amount of time or it can be lighter or heavier.

Menopausal symptoms vary widely between individuals. For some, the symptoms maybe milder and easy to cope with and for others it may be associated with physical and psychological symptoms that can interfere with day to day activities.
